Linecheck Pop Up Bologna: a day dedicated to the Emilia-Romagna music industry on December 11
Meetings for professionals and a showcase evening for music lovers
Music lovers and professionals, mark this date in your calendar: next December 11th, Linecheck Music Meeting and Festival and Emilia-Romagna Music Commission, bring to Bologna, UNESCO City of Music, Linecheck Pop Up, an event that combines industry meetings and an evening of showcases with the best Emilia-Romagna production, also designed to promote Italy and its music system as a Focus Country at the 2025 edition of ESNS – EUROSONIC NOORDERSLAG (Groningen 15-18 January).
A new format created to connect the local music scene with the international panorama and to offer a whole day of meetings for professionals, with internationally renowned guests from the music system and market, and an evening of live music open to the public.
At the center of the day is a debate on the development of innovative strategies for the production and promotion of local talent abroad, underlining how internationalization is a key to strengthening the entire Italian music ecosystem.
The goal is to promote the Emilia-Romagna model and system, obtaining recognition in Italy and abroad; create or strengthen contacts with international operators by discussing current issues and of interest for the music market; promote the creation of networks with European counterparts (and not only); facilitate access to showcases and strategic platforms for the promotion of emerging artists. An activity that is increasingly consolidating thanks to the birth in 2022 of the music export office created in collaboration with Ater Fondazione.
The evening will end with performances by España Circo Este, James Jonathan Clancy, R.Y.F. and Godblesscomputers.
España Circo Este, James Jonathan Clancy and R.Y.F. are three of the bands selected by Eurosonic to perform in the evening program of the most important European Showcase Festival & Conference, in recognition of the growing interest and appreciation for Italian music on the international scene, with particular attention to the vibrant creativity of Emilia-Romagna.
Godblesscomputers was instead recently the protagonist at WOMEX (Manchester, 23-26 October 2024), the most relevant platform for international world music, further evidence of the quality and appeal of the musical production of our region.
Linecheck Pop Up is much more than a musical event: it is a showcase of connections and collaborations, a unique opportunity to discover the best of the Emilia-Romagna music scene and to intercept the European market.
Don’t miss it!
